Our Approach to Depression

Leading mental health experts have declared a national emergency in child and adolescent mental health.

In 2021, the Surgeon General issued a warning, declaring a mental health crisis with depression and suicide as main concerns. Depression impacts one in four adults directly and untreated depression can be serious and even fatal.

We believe that depression is often hidden at the core of other disorders such as anxiety and social media and gaming addictions. As a result, our goal is early detection and intervention.

PLEASE NOTE:  Synaptec assessments are only the first step to a complete diagnosis and will screen for risk for a particular mental health issue, such as ADHD, Anxiety, Depression, Gaming Addiction and Problematic Use of the Internet.  To confirm a diagnosis, please begin by sharing your Synaptec assessment results with your doctor or mental health provider.
